Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student has a preparation which allows  to know the basics of orthodontics. In particular, the student is able to: know the etiology and epidemiology of malocclusions; recognize the indications for orthodontic treatment; know the basics of cephalometrics and perform tracing; carry out a differential diagnosis in the field of malocclusions; organize an orthodontic work environment; recognize and use appropriately the main instruments used in orthodontics; recognize and use appropriately the main materials for orthodontics; place brackets on typodont; make simple folds on the wires.
