Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student is able to:Know the different aspects of the legislative system,the company prevention system, the public prevention system. Know the principles of accident prevention.

Acquire criteria and tools for risk assessment and be able to evaluate the application and organizational effects of the assessment of some specific risks from work environments, falls from height, fires and related emergency management Know the conditions of danger of accidents at work and the related remediation solutions in the main production sectors.

Course contents


Know the Standardized Procedures proposed for the identification of risk assessment for small businesses.

Awareness of the possible presence of interference risks and drafting of the "Single Document for the Assessment of Interference Risks".

Systems for the management of aspects related to health and safety in living and working environments.

Safety of plants and work equipment: Legislative Decree 17/2010 (New Machinery Directive).

Examples of health and safety risks and prevention and protection measures in work processes related to some work sectors and reflection on the transversality/analogy of risks present in different sectors eg:

Constructions
Ceramics
Health
Metal worker
Agriculture
Wood
Plastics
Logistics

The supporting information sources and the drafting of the Risk Assessment Document.

Research of sources related to the description of the dynamics of accidents occurred and related study of possible violations of accident prevention legislation.
