Learning outcomes
The course aims at offering students the geographical instruments necessary to critically apprehend and debate contemporary global changes in the classical sub-fields of human geography: population, environment, territory. Starting from an overview of the founding theoretical and methodological concepts and instruments of the discipline, this course focuses on themes such as migration, cultural and linguistic diversity, and the challenges at play to preserve the environment.
