Learning outcomes
By the laboratory practice, the student improves the knowledge about various metallic materials learned in the precedent four years.
He is able to organize and manage a complex procedure of conservation restoration with good autonomy in evaluating and managing the problems of metallic artifacts.
Course contents
The V year is dedicated to the thesis, with conservation-restoration practice focused on specific artifacts, working individually, with the class and other partners to prove critic ability in organizing a complex conservation procedure including documentation, technical analysis, evaluation and interpretation of degradation processes to define a correct conservation process.
Practice is carried out in laboratories, museum and specific sites.
