Learning outcomes
The student acquires the appropriate knowledge of the term "translational medicine" by discussing this concept as applied in the ophthalmology field. The most common meaning refers to the ability to translate results derived from pre-clinical research setting into patient care, and applications on eye diseases, with a focus on glaucoma, will be dealt with.
