Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the student knows the supervision and inspection activities carried out by the prevention technicians in the field of the environment, places of life and work. He is able to apply the administrative and judicial police measures adopted in the inspection activities and foreseen by the legislation current
Course contents
LESSON 1;
From risk perception to prevention tools adopted by the prevention technician. From risk in the living environment to occupational risk. The factors that affect the behavior and the dynamics of accidents.
LESSON 2 - 3
The main prevention and protection tools adopted by the TDP: risk assessment and training in different professional contexts. The actors of prevention (managers, supervisors, workers) and practical examples of tasks and delegations in the building and healthcare sector. The risk associated with road accidents. Practical examples and exercises.
LESSON 4
The development of security procedures as a prevention tool (matrix of responsibilities and application methods). The operating instructions. Interactions between risk assessment and safety procedure. (Exercise).
LESSON 5 Innovative risk management and staff training tools: Behavior Based Safety (BBS) and behavioral analysis. The instrument of theatrical representation. The Emergo Train system. Application examples: training project "construction sites of the pass variant". The Highway Intervention and Rescue Lines project of the Emilia-Romagna region. The training project aimed at high school students "students in safety".
LESSON 6
The TDP in emergency management. Seismic risk and fire. From risk assessment to emergency planning and staff training. Legislative and technical reference instruments. From emergency prevention with a performance method to safety management systems.
LESSON 7
Risk assessment in particular contexts: Confined environments, Mountain rescue, Civil protection volunteers, Italian Red Cross, etc. Performance planning and control tools. LESSON 8 The T.d.P. as an actor in the prevention process between repression of crimes and prevention; Methods of carrying out inspections for food control and workplace safety. Role Playing between roles (controller and controlled).
LESSON 9
The world of supervision and control over food and living and working environments. The role of the Unified Labor Inspectorate, NAS, NOE and VVF. Coordination tools for supervisory action.
