Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student has basic knowledge on rheumatic diseases, with particular reference to the implications of podiatry.

  • Rheumatoid arthritis
  • Spondyloarthritis
  • Septic arthritis
  • Crystal-induced arthritis
  • Polymyalgia rheumatica
  • Inflammatory myopathies
  • Giant-cell arteritis and introduction to systemic vasculitis
  • Vascular bone disorders (bone edema syndrome, CRPS, avascular necrosis)

Frontal lessons.

Assessment methods

Verification of learning takes place through through an oral test aimed at assessing the achievement of the course's educational objectives. The exam is carried out, even if not jointly, by the teachers of the disciplines that make up the course.

Teaching tools

The didactic material (slides) presented during the lesson will be made available to students on the Virtual portal. In addition, the slides of the lessons are provided with a bibliography in the margin, in order to allow the student any further information.
