COURSE CONTENTS

The course Environmental challenges and education is made up of two modules, Sustainable Development, Environmental Policy and Education given by prof. Elena Luppi, and Sustainable development in education: project design and evaluation by prof. Elisa Truffelli.

Course contents of Sustainable Development, Environmental Policy and Education:

History of the environmental thought;

Environmental Policy;

The Concept of Sustainable Development;

Didactics and Sustainable Development.

The course will be entirely taught in English language.

B1 level of English language and an intermediate knowledge and understanding of humanities or social sciences is required.

Teaching methods

Lectures.

Focus groups based on short videos.

Assessment methods

Oral test, in English Language, integrated with the other module of the course (Sustainable development in education: project design and evaluation, Prof. Elena Luppi).

Final score based on ../30 (18 is considered the minimum to pass the exam), comprehensive of the two modules of the course.

Inscription to the exam on Almaesami website.

If rejected at the exam, it is possible to have further chances.
