Teaching methods

Theoretical lessons and exercises.
During the lessons will be carried out exercises of the same type and difficulty than those that will be submitted to the students during the exam.

The method of delivery of the lessons (in presence or in mixed mode) will be detailed as soon as possible according to the directives that will be communicated by the University structures.

Assessment methods

In ordinary conditions, i.e. in presence, the exam takes place through a 45-minute written test, structured in 6 multiple choice questions, two open questions and a numerical exercise.

Multiple choice questions are awarded 1 point, open questions are assigned a maximum score of 9 points, numerical exercise is assigned a maximum score of 8 points for a total score of 32 points corresponding to the evaluation of 30 with honors.

In the event that the conditions remain such as not to allow for in presence verifications, the exam will be an oral. The exam will focus on the main topics of the lesson. The talks will take place via the Microsoft Teams or Zoom platforms.

During the verification test, regardless of whether it is present or remotely, the use of books, notes and any type of electronic medium (smartphone, tablet or similar) is not allowed.

Teaching tools

The slides presented in class will be available on the IOL platform.
The teaching material presented in class, even if supplemented by the notes taken in class, is not a substitute for the reference texts.
