Course contents
The workshop will discuss the socio-educational interventions to the adult population in social marginality contexts, deepening homelessness.
The workshop is structured as a theoretical and practical study. It'll be studied the most recent models of intervention, especially those in the Bologna area.
The following topics will be explored:
- introduction to poverty;
- introduction to homelessness;
- street education and proximity
- actions to homeless people;
- network;
- the construction of a personalized inclusive project for adults.
These aspects will be analyzed in the classroom, through group work and common activities.
NOTICE
The laboratory provides classroom meetings in the presence, but not visits to work contexts.
Depending on the availability of work entities, some remote connections with external experts will be proposed during the workshop period.
Readings/Bibliography
Further information will be provided during the course of the workshop. Scientific papers will be used in Italian and English.
Teaching methods
- traditional teaching for the presentation of the various theoretical approaches and practices;
- laboratory teaching (exercises, role-playing games, watching movies) and cooperative learning (debate)
Assessment methods
The evaluation criteria used will be the active participation in the laboratory and the individual contribution to the work done in the group.
