Learning outcomes
The student has a specific knowledge of the main criminal law institutes of navigation through the analysis of national, European and international regulations and the reference to case law. The "Criminal law of the Navigation" concerns crimes of navigation both in the formal sense and in the substantial sense. According to the first, the crimes of navigation are those laid down in the third part of book I of the Navigation Code (Titles II and III), united not only by the unitary topographical location, but also by reference to the general provisions for them dictated in the title I of the same book I. According to the second sense, all criminal offenses whose offensive content is attentive to the phenomenon of maritime or air navigation may be included in the crimes of navigation.
