Learning outcomes
The course shall lead the students through the basic grammatical and lexical structures of the German language in order to possess a basic linguistic competence, both oral and written, enabling them to interact in a limited number of everyday communicative situations.
Course contents
German alphabet: phonetics and pronunciation; personal pronouns; three kinds of nouns; auxiliary verbs; Cardinal numbers; conjugation of weak verbs; conjugation of strong verbs; separable verbs; modal verbs and their syntax; interrogative form; negative form; Präteritum and Perfekt; future; imperative; declension of adjectives.
