Learning outcomes

The student acquires knowledge about the essentials of economic management of farms and agro-forestry, as well as knowledge on the evaluation criteria of rural and environmental goods. In particular, know how to use modern management models in the field of planning and administrative control and is able to apply the theory of estimates to concrete case studies, with specific reference to the company nurseries and agro-forestry. He knows also the main methods of valuation of environmental goods and templates for a prior assessment of the environmental impacts. Finally know the basics to get you through legislative and problem-solving estimation and management. At the end of the course the student is able to critically evaluate the phenomena, knowing apply the skills acquired in social and professional contexts.

Teaching methods

The course is divided into four teaching units of which the first three are theoretical and consist of lectures, while the fourth is made up of specific exercises.

Assessment methods

The learning assessment takes place through a final exam which ensures the acquisition of the expected knowledge and skills by an oral exam at the end of the course.
