CRASH COURSE IN MATHEMATICAL ANALYSIS

LESSON PROGRAM

1. Algebraic equations: second and higher order rational equations (application of polynomial division, Ruffini rule, polynomial decompositions, zero product property), irrational equations.

2. Rational, integer and fractional algebraic inequalities, irrational inequalities, systems of inequalities.

3. Absolute value: definitions and main properties, graph of the absolute value function, equations and inequalities containing one or more absolute values.

4. Analytical geometry: line, parabola, circumference, ellipse, hyperbola.

5. Concept of elementary algebraic function and functions with properties and graph.

6. Exponential and logarithmic functions (definition, properties, graph), exponential and logarithmic equations and inequalities.

7. Trigonometric functions (definition, properties, graph)), goniometric formulas, goniometric equations and inequalities.
