Learning outcomes
The purpose of the course is the knowledge of the structural organization of the locomotor apparatus in Domestic Mammals. The student will be able to recognize and to describe the bones, the joints and the main muscles of the body.
Course contents
Osteology: axial, cingular and appendicular skeleton.
Arthrology: classification, in detail: joints of the vertebral column, joints of the thoracic and pelvic limbs.
Myology: general myology. In detail: masticatory muscles, pectorals muscles, diaphragm, muscles of the thoracic and pelvic limbs, abdominal muscles.

Teaching methods
Over-head projector, slides (Power Point) during lectures. The students, during practical and supervised works, can see and make dissections on animals. The students have, also, the opportunity to attend anatomy room in others days, under an irregular control of the teacher; they can study on material like skeletons.
