Learning outcomes
The course aims to illustrate the contents and the techniques of the urban planning tools ("piano particolareggiato" and "programma complesso", masterplan, "plan masse", etc), offering the students a necessary basis to the formalization of their master degree project.
Course contents
The course will explore some theoretical references and a selection of case studies related to recently realized masterplans, aimed at understanding the implementation of an urban project.
The course will provide the students the fundamental tools for deepening their case study and preparing their master degree work.

Teaching methods
The course includes lectures and practical work, with the assessment and discussion of the work made by the students.
Assessment methods
The final assessment consists in the presentation of the practical work by each student.
The masterplan will include a survey of the site of intervention and will illustrate adequately the existing situation and the hypothesis of transformation.Teaching tools
