Learning outcomes
Lectures allow to enhance the knowledge of engineering materials mainly used in industrial applications. The course deals with steels and stainless steels, aluminum alloys, magnesium alloys, copper alloys, titanium alloys and polymeric materials. The choice of materials based upon the technologies and heat treatments in order to achieve the right properties and performances is the main relevant acquired competences.
