Learning outcomes

At the end of the course, the student is able to create a project for the construction, validation and standards evaluation of a neuropsychological test; to perfom an appropriate statistical analysis; to present and discuss the statistical results.

Course contents

The course will take place during the first semester (from September to December 2015) at the Cesena Campus of the School of Psychology and Education (address: piazza A. Moro, 90, Room A).

-Research Designs

-Non parametric statistics

-t-test analysis (repeated measures, independent samples)

-General Linear Model: Multivariate Analysis of Variance, Analysis of Variance for Repeated Measures, Post Hoc and Multiple Contrasts

-Linear Regression Analysis

-Logistic Regression Analysis

-Correlation Analysis

-Factor Analysis

Teaching methods

Data obtained from some experiments will be analyzed and discussed during the lectures.

Assessment methods

One small group assignment (describtion of a research project and discussion) and one individual assignment  (describtion of a research, discussion and interpretation of results) will be used for evaluation of the student.
