Learning outcomes

Upon successfully completing this orientation course, the student will gain an understanding of the psychosocial perspectives on organizational behaviour, the main trends in Work, Organization and Personnel Psychology, the policies and deontological framework in the professional domain of Work, Organizational and Personnel Psychology

Course contents

Orientation Course. Introduction to Master (Laurea Magistrale: topics, methodologies, professional perspectives. Italian and Erasmus Mundus international training program. Science and practice (Scientist-Practitioner Model), skills and competences in WOP Psychology. Ethical and deontological norms in WOP Psychology. Social behaviour in the organization: psychosocial perspectives.

Teaching methods

Teaching methods will be: brief lectures, in-class exercises, case study, assignment of individual or small group tasks, articles and scientific paper analysis. Student are expected to come to class prepared, on time, ready to discuss and ask questions and personally interested in learning

 

Assessment methods

Students regularly attending the course : the assessment will be on 2 brief paper (2400 words), assigned by the teacher in agreement with the student mainly focused on topics presented during the course and 2 assignment (In-class & Homework) delivered during the course (detailed instruction can be downloaded from the moodle platform used for didactics http://easi.polocesena.unibo.it/course/view.php?id=26 )
Students not regularly attending the course will be assessed considenting a 10 pages paper (each page 3000 letters)on a topic assigned by the teacher and the Final written exam on two topics specified at the beginning of the examination day
PAPER EVALUATION CRITERIA: a) Contents suitability; b) appropriate suggestions and connections at theoretical and practical level; c)Empirical evidences and references pertinence; d) Paper structure and format accuracy.
