Conoscenze e abilità da conseguire

The course "Classics in the History of Philosophy" intends to provide students with the opportunity to practice reading classics of philosophy in the original language (English, French, German) in order to deepen on them the semantic and conceptual questions connected with the historical transformations of the philosophical expression, to favor the comprehension of the peculiar meanings of the specialized language in the diachrony of its forms and to acquire the critical awareness of the theoretical and interpretative problems connected with the translation of complex texts.

La Critica della facoltà di giudizio: lettura e analisi del testo.

Il corso si propone una lettura attenta della Critica della facoltà di giudizio estetica. L’interesse principale sarà quello di approfondire il sigificato e il ruolo di questa parte della terza Critica all’interno del sistema kantiano. Per questo la lettura dell’Introduzione e della Prefazione di questo libro saranno di centrale importanza. Atrraverso l’analisi dei quattro momenti in cui si struttura l’esposizione del giudizio di gusto, della Deduzione e della Dialettica, saranno messi in luce i nessi sistematici con il progetto critico in generale, ma anche i momenti di tensione che attraversano l’opera. Il corso è basato soprattutto sulla lettura e commento del testo di Kant. Gli studenti
acquisiranno familiarità con la terminologia kantiana, con i concetti fondamentali della filosofia critica e con questioni rlevanti tanto di epistemologia quanto di estetica.
