Apply the knowledge acquired during the course "Multimedia Services and Applications M" for developing in autonomy an activity on a topic agreed with the lecturer.

Contenuti

Development of an application/program on a topic of the main course "Multimedia Services and Applications M".

The software to be used can be chosen between MATLAB and Python (Java in some specific cases).

Potential topics include the the development of a multimedia-oriented application or service, the development of audio/video/image compression algorithms (potentially with an application), and topics related to Non-Terrestrial Networks.

Testi/Bibliografia

The same bibliography as that used in the Multimedia Services and Applications M course are still valid for the project. In addition, the documentation of the selected development software(s) is also considered as a reference.

Periodic tutoring and verification of the activity under development.

Modalità di verifica e valutazione dell'apprendimento

The assessment of the activity will be performed through a student presentation of the working application/program.

The student is eligible if the application/program is compliant with the requirements agreed with the teacher and if during the presentation the student is able to illustrate the functionalities.
