Conoscenze e abilità da conseguire
The target of the course is to achieve knowledges the molecular methods of the most common non invasive and invasive methods of prenatal diagnosis. In particular the course focuses on (1) the strategies of dosage of circulating fetal DNA in maternal plasma and the clinical applications; (2) concepts of application of QF-PCR and WES in perinatal medicine.

Lezione introduttiva sulle malattie genetiche e sul significato di diagnosi prenatale invasiva e non invasiva
Basi algebriche e cliniche dei test di screening con particolare riferimento al test combinato
Disamina delle patogie prenatali per la quali la biologia molecolare abbia un ruolo diagnostico e/o di counseling
Conoscenza delle principali metodiche di analisi delle patologie prenatali per lo studio invasivo (NIPT) ed non invasivo:
QF-PCR per la analisi delle trisomie più comuni
Massevly parallel sequencing : Metodi Counting e metodi SNP. Confronto fra i vari test NIPT e loro applicazioni ottimali nelle varie gravidanze.
La sindrome di alloimmunizzazione fetale e diagnosi non invasiva dell RhD fetale da sangue materno mediante Real Time PCR,
