Conoscenze e abilità da conseguire

At the end of the course, students will understand the challenges that the current ecological transition processes pose to nation-states in the context of their relations with other states, both bilaterally and multilaterally. Students will also be able to evaluate the effectiveness of the strategies adopted at the national, regional and international level in order to shape and manage the ecological transition processes within the broader context of the dynamics of conflict and cooperation between states.

The course includes a theoretical and a workshop part. After illustrating the characteristics of the ecological and energy transition path initiated by the European Union and other countries, the implications in terms of growth, employment, immigration and relations with other countries will be explained. The second, more operational part of the course, will involve group work through the methodology of design thinking, with a final presentation.
