Testi/Bibliografia
Scientific articles on specific topics will be available during the course. Students are required to read an article at home. During the next class, the article will be discussed and applied through small-group work.
Metodi didattici
For each topic covered in the course, the theoretical part and, at times, a case will be presented. Students will then be expected to apply through small-group work the acquired knowledge to the design and evaluation of interventions aimed at improving occupational well-being in a specific work and organizational context.
Specifically:
- Weekly: Application of acquired knowledge to a specific work and organizational context (small-group work).
- At the end of the course: Small groups must deliver a paper describing the complete intervention in the specific work and organizational context and present the work done.
The course is designed to be very interactive, based on students’ active participation. Therefore, students are requested to attend systematically all the lectures. Exchange students, aiming to choose this course for their learning agreement, should carefully consider – in their own interest – that they are requested to attend the full course.
PLEASE NOTE: Basic knowledge on Work Psychology is required to adequatly take this course
Modalità di verifica e valutazione dell'apprendimento
The grading scale is from 0 to 30, 18 being the minimum passing grade.
MODULE 1
(96152 - INTERVENTION IN WORK PSYCHOLOGY - 4 cfu)
The final assessment is based on:
- A small-group project on work stress prevention. This will give 0-20 points
- An “individual reflection paper” on the contents of the module. This will give 0-10 points
Scoring from 0 to 20 (0-10 for “individual reflection paper”) points is graduated as follow:
- 0-4 points (0-2): markedly inadequate, evident misunderstanding, lack of critical comprehension, or content off-topic
- 5-9 points (3-4): presentation and/or discussion are not fully adequate; imprecisions, surface exam and description of the contents, lack of critical comprehension
- 10-14 point (5-6): presentation and discussion are sufficiently clear and understandable; there are elements that denote critical deepening of the contents, albeit not fully evident
- 14-19 points (7-8): presentation and discussion are very clear, lexicon is specific to the topic, evidence is clearly understood and described, and critical comprehension is evident; some of these aspects, however, is present but not fully achieved
- 20 points (9-10): presentation and discussion fully meet the requirements as it concerns clarity, lexicon specificity, understanding and explanation of evidence.

- 18-24 point: presentation and discussion are sufficiently clear and understandable; there are elements that denote critical deepening of the contents, albeit not fully evident
- 25-29 points: presentation and discussion are very clear, lexicon is specific to the topic, evidence is clearly understood and described, and critical comprehension is evident; some of these aspects, however, is present but not fully achieved
- 30 points: presentation and discussion fully meet the requirements as it concerns clarity, lexicon specificity, understanding and explanation of evidence.
