By the end of the course students will know the theoretical models, the fundamental methods of investigation and the practical course of actions leading to social discrimination, stereotypes and social prejudice
Contenuti
Social prejudice is one of the most henious symbolic outcome that can stem from intergroup relations.
In the course the social cognitive bases, the behavioural component of discrimination, the stereotypic facet and the emotional components od prejudice towards minority groups will be addressed.
Theoretical models, methods of measurement and practical examples of prejudiced attitudes and behaviours will be addressed.
