Conoscenze e abilità da conseguire
At the end of the course, students possess the basic knowledge on various methods used in the field of Applied Physics, with the possibility of practising with some of the techniques in laboratory sessions. In particular, students are able to: - design and characterize an acquisition system for digital images; - use digital image processing software; - characterize and optimize the components of a detection system through Monte Carlo simulation techniques; - design and realize procedures for evaluating and improving the image quality of digital detectors.
