Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student: - is able to recognize the highly critical "situations" activated by specific psychopathological dynamics, which determine the need for urgent interventions. - is able to recognize the fundamental clinical-psychopathological matrices that feed the risk of acute decompensation. - is able to orient themselves within the diversified types of emergency intervention according to the different operational contexts (the territory, the department, the therapeutic communities, etc.). - knows the role and the technical-operative specificity of the educator with respect to the other figures of the team during situations of failure which require "urgent" intervention.

Stress Disorders: Acute Stress Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.

Obsessive-Compulsive disorder and spectrum disorders

Eating Disorders: Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa.

Dissociative and Somatoform Disorders

Schizophrenia: Epidemiology and Risk Factors, Clinical Frameworks, and Therapy

Other Psychotic Disorders: Delusional Disorder, Schizoaffective Disorder

Substance-Related Disorders

Personality Disorders

Psychopharmacological therapies: antidepressants, mood stabilizers, antipsychotics, anxiolytics and hypnoinducants.
