Conoscenze e abilità da conseguire
Durante il corso sarà analizzato il ruolo della moda come fenomeno culturale e la mostra di moda come luogo privilegiato in cui si esprimono e sperimentano nuove forme di storicizzazione e visualizzazione del contemporaneo. La messa in scena e la rappresentazione saranno analizzate in diversi ambiti tra loro correlati: dal museo, all’università, dall’accademia agli spazi commerciali dell'industria del tessile e della moda.
Contenuti
History of Fashion Curation; Analysis of major fashion exhibitions; New models of representing fashion (store, digital, museum, catwalk).
WORKSHOP FOR ATTENDING STUDENTS + SPECIAL LECTURES BY INTERNATIONAL CURATORS WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE UNDERSTANDING OF THE LATEST TRENDS IN INTERNATIONAL FASHION CURATION.
Students are warmly invited to attend the International Conference entitled ZoneModa International Conference 2023 - FASHION IN 3D, Decolonizing Deconstructing Decentering to be held from 19 to 21 October 2023 in the halls of the Alberti complex.

The Conference will cover the topics related to the course and to Fashion Studies.
- Participation in all days of the Conference will give the opportunity to obtain one point to be added to your degree grade.
