At the end of the course the student will be able to understand the basic models and principles of logistics and operations management. At the same time the student will be able to master the most important tools of management of the logistics and operations function. As a consequence, at the end of the course the student will be able to understand the management of the technical functions in a company, as well as its links with the other functions.

Metodi didattici

Le lezioni saranno arricchite con esempi pratici in modo da introdurre e spiegare i concetti chiave. In particolare, durante il corso saranno svolti alcuni Business Games in modo che gli studenti possano confrontarsi con una situazione "reale" allo scopo di sperimentare i concetto in ambiente protetto. Tra gli altri, saranno esemplificati: supply chain, lead time, variazione, push vs pull, sistema kanban e 5S

Modalità di verifica e valutazione dell'apprendimento


Un esame scritto permetterà di verificare il livello di apprendimento degli studenti. Le domande (sia aperte che a scelta multipla) insieme ad esercizi pratici fanno parte della valutazione.
