I am in my first year as a PhD student in chemical and process engineering at the DICAM department of the University of Bologna. After obtaining an MSc (cum laude) in Chemical Engineering, I had the opportunity to work as a research fellow in the LISES research group. My research activity, first as a research fellow and then as a Doctoral student, seeks to investigate the resilience of the chemical and process industry to Natech events.

 

In the end of my Master’s degree, I spent 5 months at TU Delft (NL) for the development of my thesis. During this period, my work focused mainly on the development of methodologies to support safety investment decision-making for fire prevention.
