Curriculum Vitae



Virginia Negri is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Department of Electrical, Electronic, and Information Engineering "Guglielmo Marconi" (DEI), University of Bologna, Italy. Her research activities are in the field of electrical measurements, with a focus on the application of artificial intelligence to electrical power systems, AI-based measurement architectures, and the development of measurement and signal-processing algorithms on embedded platforms and microcontrollers.

She received the B.Sc. degree in Computer Science Engineering in 2020 and the M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering in 2022 from the University of Bologna. She received the Ph.D. degree with honors (cum laude) in Biomedical, Electrical and Systems Engineering (IBES, 38th cycle – Electrical Engineering curriculum) from the Department of Electrical, Electronic, and Information Engineering "Guglielmo Marconi" (DEI), University of Bologna, in 2026.
