Formazione
I received my bachelor’s degree in Applied Linguistics and Translation at the University of Santiago (Chile) and my MA in Translation and Interpreting Research at the University Jaume I (Castellón, Spain). Currently I am a PhD candidate at the University of Bologna.
Attività didattica
I've been teaching translation and audiovisual translation in several universities in Chile such as the University of Santiago, Universidad Chileno-Británica de Cultura and University of the Americas. I also give specialization courses on subtitling (the last one was at the Temuco Catholic University).
Carriera professionale
I've worked as a professional translator in the English, Spanish and Portuguese language combinations for more than 10 years. I also worked as a consecutive interpreter for 2 years and as subtitler and dubbing translator for 9 years. Right now I am taking a break, of course.
