Information on personal data processing for the newsletter of the Professional Unit for Research and Third Mission Quality and Academic Rankings

Purpose of processing

Your personal data will be used by Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna in order to ensure protect activities related to research and third mission quality management. In particular, the delivery of message makes it possible for the University to: analyse the main national and international rankings; guarantee networking activities with the rankings’ managers; provide information on the University’s quality assurance processes; raise awareness about the activities, results and objectives met by the University in compliance with Rector’s Decree 271/2009.

 

Legal basis for processing

The legal basis for data processing is the consent provided in compliance with art. 6, clause 1(a) of Regulation (EU) 2016/279. Your consent in relation to the above-mentioned goals is free and optional, and as lack of consent will not have any consequences other than the lack of message delivery.

 

Data conservation period

Your personal data will be processed via electronic computer systems with the sole aim of providing the requested service. For this reason, your data will be stored exclusively for the period in which the service is operative.

 

Rights of the data subject

As a data subject, you are entitled to the rights described in articles 15-21 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, including the right to: request access your personal data, correct or cancel said data, and limit or stop the use and transfer of your data.
