Student elections: take part, choose, change

Participate in the student elections and choose who will represent your needs in the University Bodies.

Student elections are the time when you can choose who will represent students in the University Bodies. It is a simple step, but with real effects: on the University’s priorities, services, spaces and the choices that influence the study experience.

The next elections will be by-elections and will be held online on 15 and 16 April 2026 for the Department Boards and Degree Programme Boards.

Why stand for election?

Standing for student representation means truly becoming part of University life. You can:

  • give voice to the needs, ideas and critical issues of students
  • bring practical suggestions and help improve services, teaching and University life
  • be part of a group that represents different points of view and works for common interests
  • better understand how the University's decisions are made and how the choices concerning students are managed
  • develop skills that are also useful outside the University: organisation, communication, teamwork, leadership
