Teaching methods

Attendance to at least 70% of classes is mandatory. In addition to the presentation during lessons of the structures characterizing the Russian linguistic system, the communicative teaching method will be applied as well. Students will be asked to fill out exercises, read and translate short texts. They will be tasked with individual homework assignments to be then revised by the professor for the whole duration of the course.

Assessment methods

In order to verify the language competences and skills acquired by students, they will have to pass a final exam at the end of the semester. The exam will consist of a written part to be completed within 2 hours (a lexico-grammatical test) and of an oral part (reading, translation, grammatical analysis of a Russian text, a dialogue about the topics encountered during classes).

The final grade for the whole course will be measured as the average between the grades of each of the two parts of the exam.

Teaching tools

In addition to the texts referenced in this programme, students will be provided with multimedial additional materials that can be found on the website https://iol.unibo.it/ for the carrying out of reading, listening, writing and speaking exercises.
