Learning outcomes

Aim of the course is to give a basic preparation, design skills, and understanding the specifications of sensors and measuring systems for automotive applications.

Assessment methods

Written examination (mandatory) – score up to 30/30

  • 1-2 exercise (on sensors and measurement uncertainty)
  • 1-2 open question/s
  • 3-4 multiple choice questions
  • (written examination will be 2 hours)

Laboratory test (optional) – up to + 2 points

  • 1 exercise (only one test per year!!!)

Oral examination (optional) – up to ± 2 points

  • to be agreed with the Professor by email
  • Reserved to students with a written examination score >= 28/30
