Learning outcomes

At the end of this course the student acquires knowledge about: - the physiological basis of the contraction of skeletal and motor-control muscles; - the cardiocirculatory, respiratory and metabolic responses to physical activity/exercise; - the mechanisms at the basis of the positive effects of physical activity/exercise on health and physical fitness, both in puberty/the development age and adult life and old age.
