Learning outcomes

Student is expected to understand nature, potential impacts and possibilities of development of new trends in the field of arts management related to new technologies. By its nature, the course would focus on specific trends and aspects that will be defined in flexible ways, open to possible experimentation.

Course contents

A hands-on workshop of communication design.

We will start with video production. With practical exercises of writing/creativity, shooting and editing. Those exercises will help the student to understand (or to improve, if the background of the student comes from arts or media) the principles of visual communication.

Then, we will try to apply those principles in the contemporary environment, exploring the possibilities offered by the digital world and producing a communication project.

 

Course goals:

- Basic audiovisual production (contents, interviews)

- Basic knowledge of online communication, focused on promotion of cultural events and activities

- Notions and glossary, to have a proficient relationship with professionals (how to brief a professional)

Hands on workshop

Assessment methods

During the workshop, the student will produce a communication project (like a video, a series of pictures, a series of "posts" on an online platform). The projects created during the workshop will be presented as a final exam.
