Learning outcomes

Advanced course in the design and creation of architectural models. The aim of the course is the assimilation of theoretical and practical information through practical exercises that involve the use of computerized equipment for CAD (Computer Aided Drafting) CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing) processing provided by the Laboratorio Modelli

Course contents

The value of the model as a tool for designing, verifying and representing the project.
The design and construction of the architectural model using computerized tools and CNC machinery

Teaching methods

After a first part of an introductory frontal lesson, students will be guided to the practical realization of the architectural model.
The exercise will be carried out individually, preferably in person, using the machinery and technologies available in theLaboratorio Modelli.

Assessment methods

Participation in lessons and carrying out the exercise are necessary conditions for achieving the suitability of the course.

Teaching tools

For each lesson the relative didactic material and the indications necessary for the progress of the exercise will be made available to the students.
The use of personal computer supports and equipment supplied to the Laboratorio Modelli is foreseen.
