Learning outcomes

 

During the course, the student will learn applicative aspects of the Transport system models, regarding individual road transport networks. The student also learn the tests for the geometric and mechanical characterization of basic materials, the fundamentals of "mix design" of bituminous conglomerates, the tests for the characterization of the dynamic stiffness module.

  • Introduction to the micro-simulation of a transport system;
  • Supply and demand in micro-simulation;
  • methods for generating the transport demand in the case of micro-simulatio

Computers are available in the laboratory. Laptop is useful to do exercises also at home.
