Learning outcomes

Students should achieve an intermediate/upper-intermediate level of English. 

Course contents

The course is a continuation of last year's 12-credit course. It will continue to focus on the skills required for B1-C1 levels, with further work on speaking, listening, reading and writing skills, in addition to enhancing the students' knowledge of vocabulary, both general and specific to their studies.

Any other materials used for the course will be provided during lessons.

 

The written exam is the same for all ARCO students (whether or not they attend the course).



Teaching methods

Class discussion, grammar and vocabulary exercises, dictations.

Assessment methods

Written exam lasting 90 minutes comprising a word formation exercise.

 

Teaching tools

In addition to the texts indicated, classroom time will focus on articles and essays from newspapers and magazines, chapters of books, videos, movies, etc.
