Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student is able to acquire theoretical knowledge on topics related to the issues of the environment, prevention, legislation and safety of current interest for his profession in preparation for the integrated courses of the following years.
Course contents
1. Presentation of the seminar on Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems and definition of the role of the Prevention Technician in the environment and in the workplace in the company context.
2. Actors of prevention in the business context and Identification of roles and functions.
3. The Consolidated Law on Health and Safety at Work Legislative Decree 9 April 2008, No. 81 tool for the management of company safety.
4. Legislative Decree 81/08, art. 30 and corporate social responsibility.

5. Legislative Decree 231/2001 guarantees and integration of management systems.
6. Company policies, the concept of quality, safety and health and its evolution; the Deming cycle.
7. Analysis and assessment of the risks for company health and safety; reason by priorities and processes.
8. Identification of processes within a typical work activity.
9. Classification of the identified processes and definition of the strategic objectives of safety and health.
10. Identification of process criticalities and examples of simplified Organization and Management Models.
11. The need to standardize: assessments relating to health and safety in work activities.
