Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student is expected to: - have the basic knowledge of private law - understand the role of private law as a regulatory tool for the activity of economic operators - know the legal status of the entrepreneur, the corporate system and the its typological articulation - the aptitude to enhance the role of the rules of common law as a component of the dynamics of economic relations is ripe.

Course contents

The course aims to provide students with the fundamentals notions of Italian civil law, with special regard to: the sources of law, interpretation of law, validity and effects of law, persons (natural and legal persons, including companies, associations, no-profit organizations), fundamental rights, goods, possession and property, obligations, contracts (including consumer contracts), family (marriage, civil union); torts.

Course contents will be analyzed with both theoretical and practical approach, debating relevant cases of law
