Learning outcomes

The course is aimed at providing basic principles for design and operation of offshore processes for energy production and typical fluid machines used for “island” application in off-shore installations. Preliminary elements on environmental protection will also be given.

Course contents

The student will be introduced to the concept of industrial process and process variables.

Then will learn the basics of material and energy balances

Theory will be supported by pratical examples and exercises in preparation of the written exam
