Academic Year 2019/2020

Learning outcomes

The course aims to deepen the issues of sizing, lay-out, services, installation and operational management of some typical processes of treatments for environmental protection (reduction of pollutants from gaseous emissions and waste management). Also complex models for assessing the fate and transport of pollutants in environmental media are considered, with reference to local mass balance in presence of possible chemical reactions, and models of bio-accumulation in animal species for the reconstruction of food chain contamination.

The course is taught in Italian, please refer to Italian version for other sections
