Learning outcomes
The course aims to give knowledges about ilness experience in the scope of communication with oncologic patients.
Course contents
- Biomedical model and biopsychosocial model in helping relationships.
- "Disease-centered Medicine" and "Patient-centered Medicine".
- Communicating a serious diagnosis and the reactions of cancer patients.
- Psychological support in processing suffering; work of mourning.
