Learning outcomes

Developing an understanding of neuroanatomy, physiology and physiopathology of the Autonomic Nervous System functions. Developing skills in autonomic cardiovascular control testing and interpretation of the results.

  3. Autonomic Nervous System neurodegenerative diseases
  4. Spinal lesions and autonomic dysfunctions
  5. The evaluation of the circadian rhythms of cardiovascular autonomic parameters
  6. Therapy of the orthostatic hypotension

Teaching methods

Traditional taught lectures. Discussion of clinical cases based on clinical history and videos of cardiovascular autonomic tests and circadian rhythms studies of autonomic parameters.
