‘Transfers’ are defined as work or learning carried out in Italy or abroad, away from the home location, in the interests of the University of Bologna.
PhD Students may organise transfers in Italy or abroad, subject to prior approval from the Academic Board.
The PhD Students who intend to spend a period abroad must comply with the requirements stated on the Foreign stays webpage.
Reimbursement of expenses
The expenses incurred during the transfer may be reimbursed within the limits indicated in the relevant regulation and are subject to the tax treatment applicable to the tax status of the PhD Student.
It is possible to take advantage of the 10% budget for PhD students.
