Budget 10% - research and training expenses for PhD students

PhD students are eligible:

• for cycles up to the 37th from the second year of the programme;
• from the 38th cycle onwards from year one

The following are not eligible:

• grant holders from bodies in their own country
• recipients of funding under international training and mobility programmes 

How to apply

You should contact the administrative offices of your department, as the expenses incurred on the 10% budget must be:

• authorised in a manner defined by the department
• agreed with the PhD course coordinator or the supervisor.

Remember that:

• any amounts not used in a given year of the programme may be added to those available to the PhD student in the following year of the programme;
• the budget can be used until the PhD degree is obtained.

The expenses incurred during the transfer may be reimbursed within the limits indicated in the Regulation of missions and transfers and related expense reimbursements and are subject to the tax treatment applicable to the tax status of the PhD Student.
