Learning outcomes

The Physics course aims to provide essential knowledge of physics, useful for understanding natural phenomena and biological processes, with particular attention to applications in the biomedical field. The Physics course will be structured into 7 teaching units: Teaching Unit 1. Introduction to the methods of physics (teaching workload evaluated in credits = 0.25). Teaching Unit 2. Mechanics (teaching workload evaluated in credits = 1.5). Teaching Unit 3. Fluid mechanics (teaching workload evaluated in credits = 1). Teaching Unit 4. Mechanical waves (teaching workload evaluated in credits = 0.5). Teaching Unit 5. Thermodynamics (teaching workload evaluated in credits = 1). Teaching Unit 6. Electricity and magnetism (teaching workload evaluated in credits = 1.25). Teaching Unit 7. Electromagnetic radiation (teaching workload evaluated in credits = 0.5).
